Ingo Hilgefort
Ingo Hilgefort has worked in the business intelligence (BI) industry for over 12 years, always on integrating SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions with SAP landscapes. He started with Crystal Decisions in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1999 as a trainer and consultant for Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise. In 2001, he became the program manager of a small team working in Walldorf at SAP’s headquarters for Crystal Decisions. During this time, Ingo worked closely with the SAP BW development group and helped to design and shape the first integration of Crystal Reports with SAP BW, which then became an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationship between SAP and Crystal Decisions.
In addition to his experience in product management and engineering, Ingo has been involved in building and delivering SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions combined with SAP NetWeaver for a number of worldwide customers. Recently, Ingo worked on BI end-to-end solution architecture, focusing on the SAP BusinessObjects BI portfolio and helping customers and partners successfully deploy this as part of their overall SAP landscape. His current focus is the integration of SAP BusinessObjects BI with SAP BW and SAP BW on SAP HANA.
Ingo is a very active contributor to the SAP community, and has been recognized by the SAP and SAP BusinessObjects BI communities as an SAP Mentor for SAP BusinessObjects BI– and SAP integration–related topics. He is also the author of several bestselling books on the integration of SAP BusinessObjects BI products as part of an overall SAP landscape.
